Gerardo Gamboa was named Senior Vice President Clearing and Settlement of Grupo Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (Mexican Stock Exchange Group) in 2010. He also serves as Managing Director of Valmer, a price Vendor subsidiarie of Grupo Bolsa.
Prior to joining Grupo Bolsa, Gerardo was Director of the Mexican Equity Institute.
He also served as member of the following Committees: Audit, New Issues and Index, all from the Mexican Stock Exchange; Since last April he is the Vice President of ACSDA.
Gerardo is responsible for all the post trade process of the Grupo Bolsa, that includes the following companies:
Indeval (CSD), Contraparte Central de Valores (CPP for equities), Asigna (CCP for derivatives), Interglobal (Services Bureau) and Valmer (Price and Risk Vendor)
Gerardo holds a B.A. from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a master’s degree in Economy from Universidad la Salle.
